晴雲酒造｜埼玉県の酒蔵・SAKE　代表銘柄「晴雲」

埼玉県にある晴雲酒造(せいうんしゅぞう)さんに行ってきたので、晴雲酒造さんのSAKE情報をまとめます。

I visited Seiun Shuzo in Saitama Prefecture, so I will summarize the SAKE information of Seiun Shuzo.

晴雲酒造のSAKE

営業してるのかな？　正直、そんな第一印象でした。

Are they open for business? To be honest, that was my first impression.

というのも、暖簾(のれん)がかかっている正面の建物を真ん中にして、左側に直営販売店、右側に直営飲食店があったからです。

真ん中の建物はおそらく事務所？物置？で人気(ひとけ)を感じられなかったんですよね。違っていたらごめんなさい（汗）

小川町の水は「灘の宮水」にも匹敵するミネラルが豊富な硬水のようです。販売店内で小川町の地下水を試飲できます。

Ogawa-machi water seems to be hard water rich in minerals comparable to “Nada no miyamizu”. You can sample Ogawa-machi’s underground water in the sales store.

宮水（みやみず）とは、今の兵庫県西宮市の西宮神社の南東側一帯から湧出する、日本酒つくりに適していると江戸時代後期から知られている水。灘五郷の酒造に欠かせない名水として知られる。 硬度が高く、リン含有量が多く、鉄分が少ない特徴がある。

Miyamizu (miyamizu) is water that gushes from the southeast side of Nishinomiya Shrine in present-day Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, and has been known since the late Edo period to be suitable for sake brewing. It is known as a famous water essential for sake brewing in Nada Gogo. It is characterized by high hardness, high phosphorus content, and low iron content.

販売されている日本酒は数種類。上の画像の日本酒以外にあと数種類あります。

埼玉県産無農薬米や他県の厳選したお米を使用しているそうです。

試飲をして購入した「純米　おがわの自然酒」は、私のお気に入り。日本における有機農業の草分けである金子美登氏と提携してつくられた日本酒のようです。

There are several types of sake on sale. In addition to the sake in the image above, there are several more varieties.

They use pesticide-free rice produced in Saitama Prefecture and carefully selected rice from other prefectures.

Junmai Ogawa no Shizen-shu,” which I purchased after tasting, is my favorite. It seems to be sake made in cooperation with Mr. Mito Kaneko, a pioneer of organic farming in Japan.

ちなみに、「純米　おがわの自然酒」は2016年のロンドン酒チャレンジという品評会で銀賞を受賞しています。2016年以降も毎年のように各品評会で受賞しているようです。

ロンドン酒チャレンジとは、酒ソムリエ協会が主催するヨーロッパで最も歴史のある日本酒に特化した品評会。

Incidentally, Junmai Ogawa no Shizen Sake was awarded a silver medal at the 2016 London Sake Challenge, a competition that has been awarded at each of the competitions since 2016 and every year since.

The London Sake Challenge is Europe’s oldest sake-specific competition organized by the Association of Sake Sommeliers.

東京都の隣ですね。

比企郡小川町　Ogawa Town, Hiki-gun

晴雲酒造は、埼玉県の比企郡小川町(ひきぐん おがわまち)にあります。

Seiun Sake Brewery is located in Ogawa-machi, Hiki-gun, Saitama Prefecture.

最寄り駅：小川町駅　nearest station：Ogawamachi station

最寄り駅は、JR八高線と東武東上線の「小川町駅(おがわまち)」。

小川町駅は、JR八高線と東武東上線で共同利用されている駅です。

The nearest station is Ogawamachi Station on the JR Hachiko Line and Tobu Tojo Line.

Ogawamachi Station is shared by the JR Hachiko Line and the Tobu Tojo Line.

駅近くにはコンビニ、不動産屋さん、タクシー会社、飲食店などちらほら。また、小川町駅から約200m離れた先には大型スーパーがありました。

Near the station, there are convenience stores, real estate agencies, cab companies, restaurants, etc. here and there. There was also a large supermarket about 200 meters away from Ogawamachi station.

晴雲酒造(「晴雲」)と同じJR八高線沿いの酒蔵がいくつかあるので、寄り道してもいいかもしれません。

【行き方】最寄り駅まで　Route How to get to the nearest station

交通手段(電車)　Transportation(Train)

最寄り駅は小川町駅(おがわまち)。JR八高線沿いと東武東上線沿いの駅です。

JR八高線は、東京都の八王子駅と群馬県の高崎駅を結ぶ南北に走っている路線。東武東上線は、東京都の池袋駅と埼玉県の寄居駅(よりい)を結ぶ路線。

ここでは、電車での行き方、また、東京都内の各駅から小川町駅へどのように行けばいいのかを解説します。

上のイメージ図を見てみてください。

「成田国際空港」「羽田空港」から行く人は、日暮里駅・池袋駅経由で東武東上線に乗れば小川町駅まで行けます。

「東京駅」「新宿駅」から行く人も日暮里駅・池袋駅経由で東武東上線に乗れば小川町駅まで行けますね。

「立川駅」から行く人は、JR青梅線の拝島駅(はいじま)経由で、JR八高線に乗り、途中の高麗川駅(こまがわ)で乗り換えて小川町駅まで行きます。

「八王子駅」から行く人は、そのまま八高線の電車に乗って、途中の高麗川駅(こまがわ)で乗り換えればOKです。

JR八高線は約30分に1本の電車。また、1駅と1駅の距離が長いです。時間に余裕をもって、トイレは済ましておきましょう。

The JR Hachiko Line runs north-south between Hachioji Station in Tokyo and Takasaki Station in Gunma Prefecture. The Tobu Tojo Line runs between Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo and Yorii Station (Yorii) in Saitama Prefecture.

If you are coming from Narita International Airport or Haneda Airport, you can get to Ogawamachi Station by taking the Tobu Tojo Line via Nippori Station or Ikebukuro Station.

If you are going from “Tokyo Station” or “Shinjuku Station”, you can also take the Tobu Tojo Line via Nippori Station or Ikebukuro Station to Ogawamachi Station.

Those coming from “Tachikawa Station” can take the JR Oume Line via Haijima Station to JR Hachiko Line, and change trains at Koma-gawa Station on the way to Ogawamachi Station.

Those going from “Hachioji Station” can take the Hachiko Line train directly and change trains at Koma-gawa Station on the way to Ogawa-machi Station.

The JR Hachiko Line has one train approximately every 30 minutes. Also, the distance between one station and the next is long. Please allow plenty of time, and make sure to use the restroom.

成田国際空港からだと約2時間45分。特急も利用すると約2時間30分。※京成成田空港線スカイライナーを利用

羽田空港からだと約2時間15分。

東京駅からは約1時間30分。

新宿駅からは約1時間30分。

立川駅・八王子駅からは約1時間20分。

有料の特急を利用できるのは、成田国際空港が出発駅の時だけですね。

新宿駅より東側に位置する駅が出発駅となる場合、池袋駅経由で東武東上線に乗ることになります。

立川駅、八王子駅方面の駅が出発駅となる場合、拝島駅経由でそのままJR八高線に乗ることになります。

The only time you can use the paid express service is when Narita International Airport is your departure station.

If your departure station is located east of Shinjuku Station, you will take the Tobu Tojo Line via Ikebukuro Station.

If your departure station is in the direction of Tachikawa or Hachioji Station, you will take the JR Hachiko Line via Haijima Station.

電車賃　How much is the train fare?

成田国際空港からだと約2,100円。特急も利用すると約3,500円。※京成成田空港線スカイライナーを利用。

東京駅・新宿駅・立川駅・八王子駅からは約1,000円。

From Narita International Airport, it costs about 2,100 yen. If you also use the limited express, the fare is about 3,500 yen. *Take the Keisei Narita Airport Line Skyliner.

From Tokyo Station, Shinjuku Station, Tachikawa Station, and Hachioji Station, the fare is approx.1,000 yen

所要時間は、出発時間帯、曜日によって多少変わります。また、他のルートもあるので、乗換案内アプリ等で最適ルートを検索してみてください。

Travel time varies slightly depending on the time of day and day of the week of departure. There are also other routes available, so please search for the best route using a transfer guide application or other means.

電車賃は、1ドル＝100円で計算しています。Train fares are calculated at $1 = 100 yen.

【行き方】最寄り駅～晴雲酒造まで　Route nearest station to Seiun Shuzo

交通手段(徒歩orバス)　Transportation(foot or bus)

電車で来た場合、交通手段は徒歩がおすすめ。約900mの距離なので、歩いていけます。

バスでもOK。「小川町」から乗って、３つ目の「若松町(まつわかちょう)」または４つ目の「増尾(ますお)」で降りて、そこから歩いて約2分です。

If you come by train, walking is the recommended mode of transportation. The distance is about 900 meters, so you can walk.

You can also take a bus; get off at “Matsuwaka-cho” (the third stop) or “Masuo” (the fourth stop) from “Ogawa-cho” and walk about 2 minutes from there.

所要時間　How long does it take？

徒歩で約12分。バスで約5分。

バスは時間帯によっては1時間1本しかないので、散歩だと思って歩いていくことを個人的にはおすすめします。

Approximately 12 minutes on foot. Approximately 5 minutes by bus.

Since buses only run once an hour at certain times of the day, I personally recommend that you consider it a walk and walk.

交通費　How much can you get there?

バス代、230円。３つ目の「若松町(まつわかちょう)」と４つ目の「増尾(ますお)」どちらで降りても同じ運賃のようです。

The bus fare, 230 yen, is the same regardless of whether you get off at the third stop, “Wakamatsu-cho” or the fourth stop, “Masuo”.

試飲：有　Can I have a tasting?

有料の試飲サービスがあります。

試飲を参考に買った「おがわの自然酒」は美味しかったです。

The “Ogawa’s Nature Sake” I bought based on the tasting was delicious.

食事処：有　Is there a restaurant?

食事処もありました。ただ、食材状況によって喫茶のみの時間帯になることもあるようなので、食事したい方は事前に要確認。

定休日は、毎週水曜日。ただ、水曜日が祝日の場合は営業するそうです。貸し切り等の営業日変更の場合があるようなので、事前に電話(0493-71-1450)で確認した方がいいですね。

There was also a dining area. However, there are times when only coffee is available depending on the ingredients, so those who want to eat must check in advance.

The restaurant is closed every Wednesday. However, if Wednesday is a national holiday, they will be open. It is better to call in advance (0493-71-1450) to confirm the opening hours as they are subject to change due to private parties, etc.

酒蔵見学：有　Can I take a brewery tour?

酒蔵見学はおこなっています。

「常時解放見学」と「10名以上団体限定の説明付き見学」の２種類。

「常時解放見学」は、いつでもOK。

「10名以上団体限定の説明付き見学」は、事前の予約制。繁忙期や酒造りの状況によって受付できない場合もあるようです。

見学時間は、元旦をのぞく年中無休。営業時間は、9:00-17:00。所要時間は、20分～1時間。

Sake brewery tours are accepted.

There are two types of tours: “always open tours” and “tours with explanations for groups of 10 or more people.

The “open-house tours” can be taken at any time.

Tours with explanation for groups of 10 or more people are available only by prior reservation. Tours may not be available during peak season or depending on the brewing conditions.

Tours are open year-round except on New Year’s Day. Hours of operation are 9:00-17:00, and the tour takes 20 minutes to 1 hour.

その他情報　Other Information

晴雲酒造さんの帰り道の話ですが、小川町駅近くの大型スーパー(ヤオコーさん)でイートインスペースを発見。

昼ごはん用に総菜コーナーのにぎり寿司を購入。

イートインスペースの無料飲料水用の紙コップで、買ってきたばかりの晴雲酒造さんの日本酒といっしょににぎり寿司を頂きました。

最高でした。幸せでした。

On the way back from Harumo Sake Brewery, we found an eat-in space at a large supermarket (Yaoko) near Ogawamachi Station.

I bought nigiri-zushi from the side dish section for lunch.

We enjoyed the nigiri-zushi with the sake we had just purchased from Seiun Shuzo with a paper cup of free drinking water from the eat-in space.

It was great. We were happy.
